Things To Do In Chattanooga
Chattanooga is Vibrant.
Privateer Yacht Club is planning lots of activities for your stay here. However, if you would like to explore Chattanooga, there are plenty of activities away from the club..
The showcase of our downtown experience is the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge linking North Chattanooga with the bustling Bluff View District.
On the North Shore, visit Coolidge Park to throw Frisbee or have a picnic. Once you've explored the quaint shops and galleries on Frazier Avenue, use the 1/2 mile walking bridge to reach the south side of the river. Here, you will find the Hunter Museum of American Art. The Bluff View has Art Galleries and "Tony's" one of the city's best pasta restaurants. Stop in to Rembrandt's Coffee Shop for a huge selection of pastries and chocolate.
If you haven't had enough excitement on the water sailing, buy a pass for High Point Climbing Gym. No Experience Necessary. They will harness you and let you loose on their climbing wall. Really a lot of fun.
After your arms ache from climbing, drop into Big River Grille for a cold, locally brewed beer along with your steak, seafood, or burger.
If you're feeling even MORE adventurous, Chattanooga is home to some of the best mountain biking and hiking trails in the Eastern U.S. We also have Hang Gliding, Caving, Kayaking & Paddle Boarding.
Whatever your area of interest, ask a club member and we will be sure to point you in the right direction.
