Rules: The Choo Choo Regatta will be governed by the 2021-2024 Racing Rules of Sailing

Eligibility: This regatta is open to all Flying Scot sailboats. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers.

Races: Five races are planned, weather permitting. Three races on Saturday and two races on Sunday.

Lodging: PYC member homes may be available on a limited, first come, first served basis. Contact Rob Fowler at

Camping: Tent camping is permitted on PYC grounds. A limited number of RV parking spots are also
available, some with electrical hookups, some without hookups. RV spots on-line reservation - first come, first served.

Pets: If you bring a pet, please keep it on a leash while on PYC property. Pets are not allowed in the clubhouse.
Please clean up pet waste.

Release of Claims:
Competitors participate in this regatta entirely at their own risk. See the Rules of Racing Rule no. 3, Decision to race.
Competitors acknowledge that sailing involves potential risks. As a condition of their participation in this regatta,
competitors release all claims they may have against Privateer Yacht Club, the regatta host and property owner,
their officers, directors, members, committees, and employees for damage to property, personal injury or death
sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. Competitors shall be responsible for damage or injury
caused by their breach of The Racing Rules of Sailing or applicable governmental rules for the avoidance of collision.
